Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing this Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag, the small one, for a while now. You know, the one that’s been all over TikTok? Yeah, that one. Anyway, I finally decided to go for it and remake one myself.
Started this whole thing by looking up everything I could find about this bag. Turns out, it’s made from this special Saffiano leather, which isn’t fake leather, but real calfskin that’s been treated to make it tough and water-resistant. Found out it’s a pretty big deal, this bag. I mean, even big shots like Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid are carrying it around. It’s from Prada, started way back in 1913 by some guy named Mario Prada. Pretty iconic, huh?
First I tried to find the right materials. I searched around for this Saffiano leather, and boy, was that an adventure! Finally, I found a supplier, ordered a bunch of it. Then, I needed to figure out the color. The one I wanted was this blue/scarlet/white combo, so I made sure to get those colors.

Next, I got down to actually making the bag. I used some tools and after a few days, I had my bag!
- Cut the leather according to the dimensions of the small Galleria bag.
- Stitched the pieces together, which took a good amount of time.
- Attached the hardware, like the little Prada logo.
Honestly, it turned out way better than I expected. It looks really close to the real deal. And you know what? It’s super satisfying to carry around something you made yourself, especially when it looks this good.
I’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s holding up great. It’s perfect for my everyday stuff, and I even took it out the other night, and it looked pretty fancy, if I do say so myself. I’m really happy with how my little project turned out. It’s like having a little piece of luxury that I made with my own two hands. Pretty cool, right?
