You know, I saw this thing the other day, this fancy bag. They call it the YSL JUNE BOX BAG. What a name, huh? Sounds like something out of a movie, not something you’d carry your things in. But let me tell you, it’s a hot topic. Even in the official flagship store, they talk about this Remake Yves Saint Laurent thing. It’s supposed to be all the rage. They say it’s a remake, whatever that means. Probably just making it again ’cause folks like it so much.
This YSL JUNE BOX BAG, it’s not like those bags we used to have. This one, it’s all fancy and shiny. They say it has this special logo, a YSL Cassandre logo. Sounds like a fancy person’s name, don’t it? I don’t know much about fashion, but this one, it’s everywhere. They even sell it in those fancy stores, where everything costs an arm and a leg.
And get this, they got these tiny ones, designer mini bags, they call ’em. Who needs a bag that small? Can’t fit nothing in it! But I guess the young folks like ’em. They say you can find ’em at a place called REVERSIBLE. Sounds made up to me. But they say it’s where all the fancy folks shop.
This JUNE BOX BAG, it’s got a strap, an adjustable crossbody strap. So you can wear it across your body, I reckon. That’s kinda handy, I guess. Keeps your hands free for other things, like holding onto your groceries or shooing away those pesky flies.
They even got special shipping, complimentary express shipping. That means you get it fast, I suppose. And they say you can return it all the way till January 31st. Extended returns period until January 31st. That’s a long time. What do they need that long for?
It’s a micro bag decorated with the CASSANDRE. I don’t know what a Cassandre is, but it sounds important. And it’s got diamond-quilted… something. Like those quilts your grandma used to make, but I bet these are a whole lot more expensive.
If you’re looking to save some money, they say there’s a Saint Laurent outlet sale. I guess that’s where they sell the older stuff or maybe the ones that ain’t perfect. They say it’s from that Yves Saint Laurent fellow. He must be some big shot designer. I wouldn’t know. They call it luxury womenswear. Sounds too fancy for me. They sell it at a place called THE OUTNET.
I heard they even have YSL Outlet Prices. Guess that means they’re cheaper there. You can shop at a YSL Outlet Store Online, they say. Everything’s online these days. Back in my day, we had to walk to the store, uphill both ways!
This box bag with front flap, they say it’s made of CALFSKIN LEATHER, BRASS. Calfskin! That’s just baby cow skin, ain’t it? And brass, like those old doorknobs. Fancy stuff. The lining is SUEDE LINING. And it’s got BRONZE-TONED HARDWARE. Even the little metal bits are fancy. It has a PIVOTING CASSANDRE CLOSURE. I guess that’s how you open and close it. They always got some fancy name for everything. This bag usually cost from $2,390 to $2, they so expensive.
Some folks say YSL does go on sale. I guess you just gotta know when to look. You need to be watchful, they say. Like that Anthony Vaccarello fellow. He’s in charge of it all, I hear.
People talk about these bags. They say they’re good, well-made. The designs, the materials, the construction is all top notch. That’s why they cost so much. It’s like 5 times more just because of the YSL name, they say. Just like Chanel, D&G, Dior. You’re paying for the fancy name.
This one bag, the Saint Laurent Le 5 7, they say it’s special. It comes in different ways, like python and calfskin. They call it a collectible. Like folks collect stamps or coins, but these are bags.
I even heard that some old Dior bags don’t have numbers, serial number. Before 1997, they say. And on the little bags, they put the number, the date code, near the stitching, the stitch line. Imagine that!
Anyway, this Remake Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG, it’s something else. It is a hot topic in official flagship store. If you got the money, I guess it’s a nice thing to have. But me, I’ll stick to my old bag. It might not be fancy, but it does the job just fine.
