Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Super Racing watch lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a ride. I mean, I’m no watch expert, but I like to think I know a thing or two.
First off, I started by just looking at the darn thing. You know, getting a feel for it. It’s got all these little hands and numbers and stuff. I started turning the little knob on the side, winding it up. Feels kinda nice, to be honest.
Then I tried to figure out how all the little dials work. There’s a bunch of them. There is a big hand that shows the hour and another one that goes around once a minute. I found out there are other small dials that have their own little hands going around, too.
- I pushed some of the buttons on the side, and some of the smaller hands started moving. I think it might be some kind of stopwatch.
- I also noticed that the numbers around the edge of the watch face – you know, the bezel – they’re different on the fake one compared to a real Speedmaster. It’s a pretty obvious tell if you’ve seen a real one before.
- I read somewhere that they introduced this new thing called a “SPIRATE SYSTEM” for better accuracy in timekeeping.
Then I started comparing it to pictures of real Speedmasters online. I noticed a few differences, like the way the numbers are lined up on the bezel. On a real one, the “100” lines up with the 36-minute mark, but on the fake, it’s more like 35 minutes.
I spent some time browsing forums, people talking about the Moonwatch and the racing ones. Sounds like there are tons of different versions of these Speedmasters.
I also learned that some folks are really into these watches because they went to the moon. That’s wild to me.
Anyway, it’s been a fun little project, playing around with this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Super Racing. It’s not the real deal, but it’s still kind of cool to see how it works, I guess.
So, what’s the deal?
I figured, if you’re thinking about getting one of these fake Speedmasters, just do your homework first. It’s not a bad watch, but you should know what you’re getting into. It’s like a fun little toy, but don’t expect it to be a real Speedmaster. I guess it can be a good watch to try on your wrist first before you go out and buy a real one.
