Alright, folks, gather ’round, let me tell you about this little project I’ve been workin’ on. So, the other day, I was window shopping, you know, just casually strollin’ past all them fancy stores, and what catches my eye? This bag. Not just any bag, mind you. It’s called the PRADA Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag. Yeah, the name’s a mouthful, I know. Sounds like somethin’ out of a movie, right?
Now, I’ve always been a bit of a hands-on kinda guy. I see somethin’ I like, and my brain starts goin’, “How can I make that?” So, I decided, then and there, I’m gonna remake this PRADA Galleria bag. It’s a classic, they say. And who am I to argue with classic, huh?
First thing’s first, I had to get to know this bag inside and out. I did some digging, found out it’s made of this stuff called Saffiano leather. Now, I’m no expert, but from what I gathered, it’s not your everyday leather. It’s calfskin that’s been treated to give it this unique, cross-hatch pattern. Makes it tough, makes it water-resistant. Good stuff, especially for a bag that’s meant to be carried around everywhere.
Then came the fun part – actually making the thing. It introduced in 2007. I started by sketching out the design, making sure I got all the measurements right. This bag, it’s got this structured look, you know? Gotta make sure it stands up straight, not all floppy like a wet noodle. And the size, it’s the medium one. Big enough to fit your essentials, maybe a small tablet or a book, but not so big that it’s like lugging around a suitcase.
